Custom Wood Lockers - Albany Academy Prep School Football Locker Room
Albany Academy with the help of Blairhouse Interiors Group chose ProZone Lockers to be the manufacturer of choice for football wood lockers. ProZone worked with Blairhouse Interiors on several designs and ultimately were able to decide on a custom wood locker solution that worked best for Albany Academy.
Albany Academy's Problem:
A football locker room that was outdated with metal lockers. With new custom wood lockers Academy was able to dedicate an entire locker room to just the football team. The old metal lockers had parts that weren't working or they were broken. Players also had no place in the football wood lockers to lock up valuables.
The ProZone Locker Solution:
ProZone gave them prep school wood lockers that had storage space for all their football equipment. They now have shelves for football helmets, shoulder pads and a hook for game day jersey display.
The custom wood lockers were manufactured out of Maple Veneer plywood and used maple hardwood edging on all exposed edges. hardwood edging is used to ensure long lasting durability. Opposed to just a thin piece of edge tape. Prozone. Prozone used it's standard UV cured, maple veneer plywood panel for extra durability. Learn more about the ProZone UV cured finish.
The lock on the lock box was a Combi-Cam® - 3 digit combination lock, used to eliminate the need for key access.
ProZone incorprated an airflow system from the room ventilation and through each football wood locker to make sure each piece of equipment dries.
Prep School wood locker - Unique Feature
The unique feature to these prep school wood lockers was that Albany Academy wanted dedicated name plates to honor all past members of their football team. ProZone provided extra name plate holders and cleared space at the back of each locker so that when a senior graduates they would have they're name on that locker for all future players to see.
