Rutgers University Ice Hockey Team

The Problem:
A rather utilitarian locker room with just benches and wall hooks. A common problem with some facilities’ locker rooms is that they don’t provide adequate space to hold a college team’s equipment and clothes. With no place to hang wet uniforms and sports equipment, much of it was left on the floor, wet and unable to dry.

The solution:

ProZone worked directly with Rutgers head coach to give provide a locker solution that had the proper storage space for the team’s hockey equipment and uniforms. By working with their heating system we were able to design the locker systems to insure that air flowed through the lockers ensuring a quick dry time for uniforms and equipment, also prolonging the life of the lockers. University Locker Case Study:

Harvard University Football

 

The Problem:
An outdated locker room filled with lockers that were not functional for the needs of today’s athletes. Harvard had a football locker that was built with storage components but the equipment couldn’t fit in to the locker and would just be shoved into the locker where there was no ability to dry or store equipment.

The Solution:

With the help of their head coach, ProZone designed a custom wood locker system that offered a place for everything from football helmets and shoulder pads to uniforms and other equipment. We integrated a keyless lock box so athletes could store their valuables without worrying about where to put a key while practicing or playing a game. We also designed into the system a lift-up seat so clothes and equipment could be stored underneath the locker and out of sight. The problem:

They were building a new facility that needed wood lockers. The needs of a basketball team are unique. With size of players it essential that their lockers were designed with that in mind. They had no place to hang street clothes or lock valuables.

The solution:

ProZone worked with the construction manager and basketball coaches to give them a locker that was made to fit their exact needs. The new custom wood locker addressed storage needs with a pullout bottom storage drawer, two lockable storage compartments and a clothes rod to hang street clothes, eliminating storage concerns and meeting the needs of the players easily and neatly.
